Aim of Business English & Communication Course
The core objective of Business English and Communication course is to cover the range of skills needed to apply in the workplace. This course aims to enhance students’ confidence and fluency by developing students’ oral and written skills to be able to communicate effectively in business contexts. This course is best suitable for those who are seeking to develop their professional skills to communicate people in business framework.
What will I learn?
- Learn how to make a Business Presentation. Learn in details on how to make a PowerPoint slides, how to structure the presentation and how to deliver it confidently to clients and colleagues.
- Learn how to describe the trends during presentation by using range of fiancé vocabularies.
- Learn the skills to interpret, evaluate and respond in telephoning. Such as in answering the business calls, explaining the details to the clients and to learn how to improve customer service.
- Learn on how to prepare a CV.
- Learn on how to prepare yourself confidently for an Interview.
- Learn how to write an effective formal email.
- Demonstrate an understanding upon how to write a Business Report.
- Learn on negotiation skills to deal with the clients and to the suppliers.
Requirement to enroll Business English and Communication course:
Students are required to take placement test before enrollment. They are expected to meet Intermediate level of English language in order to take Business English communication module.
How will students be assessed?
Students will be assessed throughout the course via Mid-term tests, Presentations and Final Assignment.
